Our Story

Hyperbole was started by two former jewelry designers and of course, friends.

Our goal is to support artists and makers. Our clothing, jewelry, and art shop located in the Hudson Valley in New York, allows emerging artists and independent designers to share their work with consumers without ever leaving the studio.

We carry an assortment of original artwork, thoughtfully designed clothing, and sustainably produced jewelry with an emphasis on small batch production.

Our business was founded on the belief that the absolute best products on earth are the ones that make you feel good about shopping: made by real people, designed with purpose, and unique to your personal style. Almost everything you’ll find on this site was made by an actual, super-talented person doing their best to produce quality goods with integrity and consideration for unnecessary waste.

We offer FREE Standard Shipping (2-6 days) for all orders over $100. 

Standard shipping rates apply for all orders under $100. Highly valued artwork maybe excluded from free shipping based on location. 

At this time we are only shipping to addresses located within the United States, but we hope to be servicing customers in the rest of the world very soon.  All orders will be shipped with tracking. 


You are eligible to return your item for a full refund within 14 days of a purchase. You are eligible to exchange, or receive store credit for an item within 30 days of a purchase. If more than 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

Gift cards are non-returnable.  


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Sale Items
Discounted or Sale items are eligible for exchange or online store credit only.

Customers will be responsible for paying shipping costs associated with the return of an item. Hyperbole does not refund items that are lost or damaged in transit back to us.

Shipping with Returns, Refunds or Exchanges

If you need to exchange or facilitate a refund, please send your item to:

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
